Radiology
Radiology or x-ray is routinely used to provide valuable information about a patient's bones, stomach, intestines, colon, lungs, heart, and genitourinary system (kidneys, bladder, prostate). Radiology can be used alone or in conjunction with other diagnostic tools to provide a list of possible causes for a pet's condition, identify and/or rule out possible problems.
Ultrasound
Ultrasounds are performed in our hospital by the traveling veterinary ultrasonographer, Dr. Jan Robinson .When one of our patients needs an ultrasound Dr. Jan Robinson visits us and brings all of her equipment with her.
In- House Laboratory Services
Here at Compassion Veterinary Center we have a chemistry analyzer that can read liver,
kidney, and blood sugar values. We also have a microscope that is extremely useful for identifying numerous cells and microscopic parasites.
